Nidannotaki is located about 100m(110yard) downstream from the confluence of two tributaries, Sawaradani and Magohachidani. These wide double-deck falls come down from Nametoko, so-called tabular(platy) joint, and the stream bed around here is mostly made of flat granite.
Magohachidaki is also a waterfall made of tabular joint which looks like water running down stairs.
Yakigoyadaki is a typical deadfall, with a huge drift wood leaning against it, and can be observed only from the logging road.
Creeks are habitats for Iwanas, land-locked chars, jumping and catching insects of both aquatic and terrestrial.
Wading in shallow water of Nametoko is really refreshing.
Walking boots (wading shoes are preferable ), rain gear, packed lunch, towel, and extra clothing.
Wading shoes are available for rent.
