
Walking up Hyouedani to your goal Hyakkenndaki located at 2100m ( 6890 feet ) hight, 9 small falls and other big falls will welcome your visit.
Two tributaries, Shintani and Syakunanzutani joined to become a creek Hyoedani, which starts to run downstream. Panorama fall is there where the fork devides. Rocks around the fall are stained whitish partly by the hot spring water. From this fall you pick your way up to Hyakkendaki through a moss-grown forest.
This tour requires the longest wading process of all the 13 Tours of Osakano Taki. Brace up and pick your way onto Shintani, which may attract you with its seasonal hospitality: larger-size waterfalls, subalpine forests, subalpine plants such as dwarf cornels and rhododendrons….Especially In late September all the mountains, creeks, ravines will start to dress themselves in red and yellow leaves.
