Waterfall Trekking

The waterfall trekking tour is Hida-Osaka 200 Falls’ specialty. Out of total more than 200 waterfalls at the west foot of our mother mountain Mt. Ontake, we had selected several waterfalls to make them into trekking tours, and ever since the start of our group in 2006, we have cherished these adventurous tours.

This hiking tour takes place in the forest on the lava plateau which is made of lava flow from the eruption of Mt. Ontake 54,000 years ago. On this tour, you will visit three waterfalls in the beautiful forest full of stories with the local guide.

Hida-Osaka's frozen waterfall trekking tour takes place in the silent snow-covered forest. The scenery of the blue ice pillars around the waterfall in such place would be the scenery that you will long remember.
